Death
Lavada Rozetta Furr, 81, of Route 4, McComb, died Saturday at Beacham Memorial Hospital in Magnolia. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hartman Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Leroy Russell officiating. Burial will be in the Ramah Cemetery in Franklin County. Visitation will be held today. Born Dec. 22, 1902, in Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Clinton and Lella Curtis Palmer. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of God in Brookhaven. Survivors include two sons, Eddie Clinton Furr of McComb and Tim Monroe Furr of Brookhaven; three daughters, Nina Willoughby of Bogue Chitto and Ruth Doyle and Betty Jean Delaughter, both of Brookhaven; four brothers, Alton, Houey, Sam and Luther Palmer of Louisiana; two sisters, Alline Jones and Arvella Tyler, both of Louisiana; 29 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.Enterprise-Journal, McComb, Mississippi, March 12, 1984
