Death
Popuarville (sic), Feb. 25 — Mrs. Elis Mitchell, 58, died suddenly of a cerebral hemorrhage Sunday afternoon at 5:30. She was found on the back porch of their home by her husband. She was the daughter of the late J. H. Furr, of Picayune. She and her husband have been living in Poplarville for 21 years. She was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors are her husband, Elis Mitchell; four sons, Harry Mitchell, Corpus Christi, Texas, E. L. Mitchell, Rev. J. C. Mitchell, and William E. Mitchell, all of Popularville (sic), (sic) Leggett and Miss Mary Ann Mitchell, both of Poplarville, Mrs. R. H. Moody, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Ramon Burgess, Tupelo, Mrs. E. J. Adams, Corpus Christi Texas; seven brothers, Arthur Furr, J. R. Furr, Willie Furr, Clifton Furr, Ernest Furr, and James Furr, all of Picayune, Floyd Furr of New Orleans; two sisters, Mrs. Nathaniel White, Brookhaven, Mrs. Lula Kennedy, California.
