Death
Abraham Hasbrouck wrote:"My neighbor Abraham Van Keuren departed this transitory life the 12th of October 1776 after an illness of about 15 days and rests in the Lord untill [sic] his coming to Judge both the Quick and the Dead, aged about 65 years. He was a good husband, a kind father, a good master, a good neighbor, he was a well wisher both to Church and state and a friend to those who would support it."
