Marriage
"Thomas Delanoy, and his now wife, for committing carnal copulation before marriage, fined" at October Court, 1667" [PCR 8:122]. Mayflower Descendants, Alden, p 49 speculates that "young Rebecca must have inherited her mother's legendary good looks and perhaps a flirtatious manner."Some researchers have claimed that Thomas Delano married Mary Alden. A lengthy explanation of why that is wrong appears in Mayflower Descendants, Alden, pp 48-51.
