3/4 blood degree, registered in the Cherokee nation as an Adopted Delaware.

Among the 26 Delaware and 56 children who chose to remain in Kansas and become U.S. Citizens in the Treaty of July 4, 1866. Originally stayed, but later came to Indian Territory after the treaty of 1868.

She is buried in the Big Cabin Cemetery along with members of her family, including her mother.

According to John Kramer, a descendent, he said Francis had a daughter, Cora, which had a daughter, Vinita, which was his mother. He knew that Frances only had about a fifth grade education and limited resources to live on. Family pitched in to care for her. She was listed on a census in Maricopa County, Arizona, Siskyou County California and in 1940 in Alameda, California with family.

John Kramer was gracious in sending me a few pictures of Francis. She was Mary Cummins Tiblow Stephenson's sister, so I wanted to include it.
