Capt. Ozias Marvin, born 29 January 1737 Norwalk CT; died there May 1807; married 26 Nov. 1761 Sarah, d/o Joseph and Rebecca (Rogers) Lockwood of Norwalk, born 15 Sept 1745; died November 1827/8. Buried in King Street Cemetery. (Rev. War. Soldier) Family tradition notes that George Washington visited the home in Norwalk; the bowl from which he drank milk is preserved as are the rooms in which he was a guest.
