James S. Holderness, Former St. Louisan, Dies
James S. Holderness, a resident of St. Louis for 20 years before his retirement two years ago, died at his home at Fordyce, Ark., today after a long illness. He was 67 years old.
Mr. Holderness was the brother of M. E. Holderness, vice president of H. B. Deal & Co. and treasurer of the Municipal Theater Association here. He was associated with Scruggs-Vandervoort-Barney, Inc. He attended Vanderbilt and Tulane Universities.
Surviving in addition to his wife and brother, is a sister, Mrs. John R. Hampton, Little Rock, Ark.
