William Sanford Herrin, 78, died Friday at his home.
The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Troy Walls officiating. Burial will be in Moon Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Shelia Molleur of Jacksonville, Ala., and Sandra Walls of New Hope; two sons, John Herrin and Sam Herrin, both of Owens Cross Roads; one brother, Joe Herrin of Madison; and 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
William Sanford Herrin was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Ann Gipson Herrin on March 6, 1986. They married October 12, 1946

Mrs. Marjorie Ann Herrin, 55, of 100 Lee Drive in New Hope, died Thursday at Huntsville Hospital.
The funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Cave Springs Holiness Church with Paul Stone and Ollie Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Moon Cemetery with New Hope Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include her husband, William Sanford Herrin; two sons, Sam Herrin and John Herrin, both of Owens Cross Roads; two daughters, Mrs. Sandra Walls of New Hope and Mrs. Shelia Gardner of Jacksonville, Ala., and nine grandchildren.
