Joseph is not a proved son of Adam. It is thought he had possibly two other children besides those nine named and proved by either Bible or court records.

3 Feb 1773, at Rowan Co NC, Joseph was a road overseer from Salisbury Town line to the trading ferry on the Yadkin River. One the same list was Daniel Waggoner for Carters old road from the Brush Fork to the Cross Road.
19 Nov 1785, Stephen Videto entered 300 acres, waters of Rich Fork of Abbotts Creek in Rowan (now Davidson Co), next to Joseph Harmon's land and Elijah Pope.
6 Aug 1785, Rowan Co. The estate of Joseph Harmon was granted to his administrators who were not named.

Adam Jr and Henry, proved sons of old Jacob, both owned about 360 acres on Abbotts Creek in Rowan Co. Adam bough his tract from Jacob Waggoner and one of the witnesses was Daniel Waggoner.
