Wedding announcement (The Waukesha Freeman: Thursday, September 30, 1897; p.8):
GRAY--HUMISTON. --At the residence of Mrs. Humiston, Oconomowoc, Thursday evening,
September 23, Rev. J. W. Helmuth officiating, occurred the marriage of Charles Gray of Salts,
Mississippi, and Miss Florence Humiston of Oconomowoc. Only relatives were present. Wm.
Jensen of Milwaukee served as best man and Miss Edna Humiston as bridesmaid. After a visit in
Milwaukee, the young couple will go to Mississippi to reside. Mr. Gray being engaged in the lumber
business there.
