Notes
Birth
Age 1 on 1860 Census. The 1900 Census states that he was 40 years old, and had born in January 1850 -- well that doesn't make sense! The year is certainly wrong.Census (family)
Enumerated with this family were:-- Robert Laundry, age 40, born Jan 1850 in Wisconsin
-- Odile Laundry, his wife, age 34, born July 1865 in Wisconsin
and children:
-- Frank Laundry, age 12, born Sep 1887 in Wisconsin
-- Winford Laundry, age 8, born March 1992 in Wisconsin
-- Ivy May Laundry, age 4, born March 1896 in Wisconsin
-- Edward Laundry, age 3, born May 1897 in Michigan
Robert and Odile had been married for 19 years. Odile had had eight children, four of whom were still living. Robert's occupation is very difficult to decipher -- looks like some kind of driver. Lots of lumber jobs in that area. This family is enumerated on the same page as that of Robert's half-sister, Matilda Bruette.

Census
In this census, Robert Laundry is reported to a 45-year-old widower, born in Wisconsin, working as a laborer in the saw mill. Only his oldest child, Frank (age 18) was living with him at the time. By 1910, Winford would be living with him. Perhaps the younger children were with relatives.http://interactive.ancestry.com/1055/CSUSAWI1905_30-0378?backurl=http%3a%2f%2fsearch.ancestry.com%2fsearch%2fdb.aspx%3fdbid%3d1055%26path%3d&ssrc=&backlabel=ReturnBrowsing#?imageId=CSUSAWI1905_30-0381
