As Arselina Rabouin entered the United States at Detroit, about a week after her wedding to Joe Raboin, she seems to have encountered some difficulties. On the back of the card, it states that she was "warned of her alien status," and on the front, at the top, is written "no visa -- not legally adm. to U.S." Whatever difficulties she may have had, she apparently overcame them, and she and her new husband settled down in St. Croix county. Oddly, the manifest states that she was on her way to join her husband in Chicago, giving his address as 11872 Boria (or Boris?)
