Posted at findagrave.com: Ralph Lee Chandler of Germantown TN, died November 10, 2015 in Holly Springs, MS of heart failure culminating his battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was 86 years old. Born April 26, 1929 in Hollis, Oklahoma, he was married to his high school sweetheart, Carol for 60 years prior to her passing seven years ago. He had two daughters, Karen and Linda, six grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Mr. Chandler is survived by his daughter, Linda Conrad and her husband, Jack Conrad of Germantown TN. He was very close and dear to his granddaughters, Mia Davidson of Makada, Illinois, Jeny Rendon-Conrad of Bartlett TN, and Dawn Overton of Cadiz KY, who all called him "Grandman". He was also known as "Mr. Ralph" to all who knew him in the assisted living facility where he stayed in Holly Springs MS, and was a favorite character known to all for his smile and funny personality.

Mr. Chandler was a tool and die maker for Lockheed and worked on Air Force One. He was a fence contractor most of his life in California, and loved building, making money, cutting special deals at yard sales and just deeply enjoying life. Once you met Ralph, you would never forget him. Services for Mr. Chandler will be held Saturday, November 14, at 2 p.m. at Family Funeral Services, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis TN and will be laid to rest next to his wife Carol in Memorial Gardens in Bartlett TN.
