Was a 1944 graduate of Hoisington Kansas High School. Bill served his country in the United States Naval Reserves in active duty from May 1944 until May 1946. He was married to Karen. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday October 21 2016 at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice with Reverend Rusty Miller officiating. Inurnment of his ashes will be held at the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice with military graveside services provided by Bitting-Norman Post 27 American Legion and the United States Navy. There will be no viewing or visitation but the family will greet friends prior to the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the Wilderness Hills Memory Care and the family's choice with the funeral home in charge.
