Franklin Co., Illinois area newspaper, unknown date: Ozza "Jack" Kirkpatrick, Sesser, dies. Ozza "Jack" S. Kirkpatrick, 78, of Sesser, died Monday at Firmin Desloge Hospital in St. Louis. Mr. Kirkpatrick was a native of Franklin County, born Nov. 2, 1902, to Thomas and Cora Lance Kirkpatrick. he was a retired conductor for the M and O Railroad. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Masonic Lodge 918, A.F. and A.M., the Shrine and Order of the Eastern Star. He was also a member of First Christian Church of Sesser, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. The Reverend Dan Williams will officiate. [handwritten in where he is buried] Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser, Illinois. Visitation at Brayfield Funeral Home in Sesser will be after 6 p.m. today. Masonic services will be conducted at the funeral home this evening. Mr. Kirkpatrick is survived by his wife, Pauline Lucas Kirkpatrick; two daughters, Corrine Van Hoorebeke, Libertyville, and Rhonda Prola, Springfield, and two sons, Jack Kirkpatrick, Chicago, and Bill Kirkpatrick, Naperville. He also leaves eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and two sisters, Bertha Rogers, Sesser and Geraldine Martin, San Francisco, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and a sister.
