Du Quoin Evening Call, Du Quoin, Illinois, Wednesday, December 2, 2015: Florence Ann Kirkpatrick, 75, of Wauchula, FL, formerly of Tamaroa, passed away at 10:15 A.M., Thursday, November 26, 2015 at the Hardee Manor Nursing Home in Wauchula, FL. Florence had been a service girl in the garment factory. She had worked at Country Set and Bridal Originals in Du Quoin. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Wauchula, FL. Florence had graduated from Big Foot High School in Walworth, WI in 1959. She was born November 21, 1940 at Tamaroa, IL, the daughter of Audrey Marion and Jessie Marie (Sprenger) Kirkpatrick. She is survived by one brother - Arven Kirkpatrick and wife Sallie of Tamaroa, two sisters - Sally Lou Knight of Lakewood Ranch, FL and Mary Jane Taylor and husband Tom of Wauchula, FL, six nieces and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Bro. Arven Kirkpatrick officiating. Friends may call from Noon until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin. Friends may make memorials to the Tamaroa Christian Church Haiti Missions and will be accepted at the funeral home.
