He was born Oct. 21, 1909, in Fariston, Ky., a son of Jasper and Myrtle Johnson Baker. He attended schools in Kentucky and came to Utah about 23 years ago. He worked and lived near Gunnison and Fayette since. He is survived by his father and two sisters, Mrs. John L. (Ruth) James, Fayette, and Mrs. Paul J. (Mildred) Duggins, North Hollywood, Cal. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Fayette Ward Chapel church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Dean Bartholomew, bishop, conducting. Friends may call at the home of Mrs. James in Fayette from 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of services. Burial will be in the Fayette Cemetery by Peterson Mortuary, Salina.
