Vie Bayley was born 21 December 1885, Lima Township, Grant County, Wisconsin, and died 19 May 1969 at the Platteville, Grant County, Wisconsin hospital. She was a lifelong resident of two communities, Livingston and Platteville, Wisconsin. She married Ben Culver, December 1904. Vie was a member of the Whig Methodist Church, a member of the DAR and a member of the Rebekah Lodge. She and her husband are buried in the Whig Methodist Cemetery, west of Platteville, Wisconsin.

There were five (5) children born of the marriage.
