Stone died at her home near Bascomville Saturday afternoon following an operation from appendicitis which was performed a few days previous. The funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at the Methodist church at Richburg, by the Rev. W. A. Betts, a former pastor of the church, and the interment was made in Union cemetery at Richburg. Mrs. Stone was the youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Kirkpatrick. Since a child she had been a consistent member of the Methodist church and was held in the highest esteem by a large circle of friends. Surviving Mrs. Stone is one daughter, Miss Virginia Stone, and the following brothers and sisters: J. H. Kirkpatrick of Fort Lawn, Davis W., L., and James Kirkpatrick of Bascomville, Mrs. John D. Sanders of Chester and Mrs. T. M. McGill of Leona, Texas.
