James Campbell Kirkpatrick was born in May 1883 in Houston, Chickasaw Co., Mississippi, and died on 7 December 1914 in Lamont, Bolivar Co., Mississippi. On 15 September 1901 he married Isabelle Funderburk in Houston, Chickasaw Co., Mississippi. Isabelle was born 23 January 1885 in Chickasaw or Morgan Counties, Mississippi. Isabelle was the daughter of Albert J. and Matilda (Warnick) Funderburk. After James' death, she married second to Young Taylor, from whom she was later divorced. She married thirdly to L. Nickerson and died 6 May 1968 in Mobile, Mobile Co., Alabama.
