Posted at findagrave.com: Albany News, Albany, Texas, January 19, 1977: Albert Aycock, 62, of Snyder died at 3:05 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, at the Cogdell Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Services were held Tuesday at the 27th Street Church of Christ. Pat Abbananto, minister, officiated. Burial was in the Albany Cemetery at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday directed by Godfrey Funeral Home. Born Jan. 18, 1915, in Farmersville, he married Verlyn Hale March 5, 1939, in Albany. He was employed by the Monsanto Oil Co., in Snyder. He had lived in Snyder since October, 1951. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Barbara) White of Arlington; two sons, Dan of Odessa, and Joe Scott of the home; a sister-in-law, Mrs. J. B. (Lillian) White of Albany; three grandchildren; a sister, Louise Parker of Odessa; and a brother, Joe Aycock of San Angelo.
