Fred Aldrich

On the 1920 U. S. Census of Waterloo, Black Hawk Co., Iowa, Fred Aldrich appears with his wife Grace and children Leonard, Lawrence, Clyde, Erma, Ralph and Marguerite. Fred is an agent for the rail road and Leonard is a laborer in a bakery. Both Fred and Leonard were in World War I. All members of the family were born in Iowa.

News Tribune, Tacoma, Washington Sunday, March 5, 1950, Page 38, Col. 3: Fred Aldrich., 73, of 4812 No. 8th St., died Friday in a local hospital after a residence in Tacoma of three years, coming from Detroit, Mich. He was born in Plano, Ill., and was a stone and brick mason by trade. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Irma Vining and Mrs. Marguerite Burdecki, both of Dearborn, Mich.; four sons, Clyde A. and Ralph G. of Tacoma, Leonard Lee of Detroit, and Lawrence F. of Cassel, Mich.; two half sisters, Mrs. Bessie Lindholm of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Geneva Parks of Cedar Rapids, Ia.; two half-brothers, Willard and Vernice Aldrich of Waterloo, Ia., and four grandchildren. Mountain View Mortuary will announce funeral arrangements.
