Lexington Clipper-Citizen, Lexington, Nebraska, October 22, 1920, Page 1, Col. 6: Death of Hobart Kirkpatrick. Hobart Kirkpatrick, son of Mrs. Anna Kirkpatrick, died this morning at the home of his mother in this city, October 22, 1920, at the age of 26 years and 20 days. Deceased was born in Lexington, Oct. 2, 1894, and has since resided here, his occupation being that of a machinist employed by the Rosenberg Motor Co. He had been ill many months. He was an exemplary young man, faithful to his obligations.
The funeral occurs Sunday afternoon, Oct. 24, 1920, at the M. E. church in this city, Rev. Bryant Howe to conduct the services. Interment at Walnut Grove cemetery.

Hobart Kirkpatrick, a well known young man in Lexington, died this morning about five o'clock at his mother's residence on Sixth street. He had been gradually failing in health for the past years and last March was compelled to quit his employment as foreman in one department of the Rosenberg garage. His death came quite suddenly and was a shock to the family as well as to all other friends. He was about twenty-five years of age and a quiet, industrious man, every one being his friend that knew him. The funeral will be held at the M. E. church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Bryant Howe. Interment at Walnut Grove cemetery.
