Mrs. Cecil Ristine's mother, Mrs. Charles McCance, passed away Jan. 3, at the home of her son, Earl, at Long Beach, California. Burial being made at Cozad, Jan. 9. Of those who came for the services, Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Camp of Cohasset, Minn., left for home Wednesday; Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey Famuliner and Son and Mr. Will Blaine and two daughters of Garden City, Mo., departed Monday of last week; and Mrs. Ethel Wolford and Mrs. Stella Smith of San Francisco on Saturday.

The funeral of Mrs. Charles McCance was held at Walnut Grove Church Saturday afternoon. The Church was filled with people from far and near who came to pay tribute the last time to their beloved friend and relative. Among those of relatives present were: Mr. Will Blaine and two daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey Famuliner and son from Mo., Mrs. Stella Smith and Mrs. Ethel Wofford of Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Bert Snyder and family of North Platte, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Yost, Miss Maggie Houk, Meryl Roberts all of Maxwell, Mr. and Mrs. John Houk of Paxton, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Chittendon of North Platte and Rev. and Mrs. Leonard Camp of Minatare. Rev. Camp conducted the funeral services, assisted by Rev. Kilburn of Gothenburg. Gothenburg Times 1/20/1932.
