On the 1920 U. S. Census of South Dalles, Wasco Co., Oregon, William T. Burge appears with his wife Laura B. William is a fruit and vegetable farmer.
On the 1930 U. S. Census of San Gabriel, Los Angeles Co., California, William T. Burge age 70, retired, and a widower appears with his son Reason P. an auto mechanic, daughter-in-law Myrtle E. and [step] grandson Harold C. Kemp, age 23.
The Dalles Weekly Chronicle, the Dalles, Oregon, February 25, 1932 page 3: W. T. Burge Dies. (Daily of February 18) W.T. Burge, 70, a resident of The Dalles for more than 10 years, died yesterday at Visalia, Cal. His funeral will be held today. He leaves four or five adult sons and daughters, one residing at Visalia and two in Los Angeles. He moved from Oregon to Los Angeles about four years ago and has been in poor health. He was at The Dalles hospital for several months because of chronic heart trouble before leaving, and his death is presumed to be from that cause.
