Kirkpatrick dies at 87. Frank Kirkpatrick, 87, of Macomb, Ill., former Fairfield resident, died this morning at a Macomb hospital. Funeral services in Macomb and graveside services in Fairfield are pending.
Kirkpatrick was born March 10, 1894 in Keokuk County, the son of Chalmer and Ada Smock Kirkpatrick. He married Blaine Myrick Sept. 23, 1917 at Fairfield. She died Feb. 2, 1971. On July 21, 1973 he married Louise Adkinson Stevens. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Esther K. Winter, 805 W. Grimes, Gertrude K. Quinn, Macomb, Ill.; two sons, Eliel F. of Odebolt, Pera C. of Wichita, Kan.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by eight brothers and two great-grandchildren.
He was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was a member of the Methodist Church, the XYZ Club and Visually Handicapped Club in Macomb and IOOF in Fairfield.
