He attended school in Milford. For a number of years he worked with his father as a painter and decorator. Later he worked for a number of years for F. H. Luchtel.
On April 29, 1977he passed away at the Milford Nursing Center in Milford. Survivors include a brother, Ralph of Milford, two nephews Gary and Don of Omaha. Services were held at the Leyson Funeral Home in Milford on Saturday, April 23, 1977 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Body Bonebrake officiating. Music by Mrs. Hubert Sternberg.
Pallbearers were Bill Clifton, Hubert Sternberg, Clarke Shelton, Phil Lowman, Irvin Lowman, Leighton White. Interment in Okoboji Cemetery in Arnolds Park.
