George Baker

Lexington Leader, Lexington, Kentucky, Thursday, January 10, 1963, Page 10, Col. 3 & 4: Berea---Colonel* G. Baker, 90, died in Los Angeles, Calif., Tuesday after a long illness. He was a resident of Scafford Cane Road and retired farmer. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Frances Smallwood, Inglewood, Calif., and one grandson, George Baker, Richmond. The body will arrive Friday at the Britton-Wray Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. W. P. Rogers. Burial will be in Berea Cemetery.

*Colonel appears in several places, unknown if it is from the miltary, or if he is a Kentucky Colonel. On the 1930 Census to the question if he is a vet, the answer is no.
