Guy Curtice

Guy Curtice, 87, of Cozad, died Monday in a nursing home here. He was born April 14, 1896 in Gosper county. He grew up in the rural Smithfield area and moved to Cozad in 1925. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle; two sons, Harold Junior of Oklahoma City and Archie of Cozad; two sisters, Verna Pennington of Fallbrook, Calif., and Dorothy Young of Lexington,; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ on north Newell with bill poling of the Church of Christ officiating. burial will be in the Grandview cemetery northwest of Cozad. A memorial has been established to the Cozad Legion Baseball Program. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Today at Berryman Funeral Home chapel in Cozad.
