Daily American Republic, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, September 5, 2010, Page 8A, Col. 4: Fisk, Mo.--Janavee Foster, 96, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 1010, at Gold Living Center in Dexter, Mo. Mrs. Foster was born Nov. 25, 1913, in Rombauer, Mo. A homemaker, she was a member of the Rombauer General Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard and sewing. On March 22, 1930, she married John Thurman Foster. He preceded in death on April 26, 1980. Survivors include three sons, John Foster of Maryville, Ill., Randall Foster of Lena, La., and James Foster of DeSoto, Mo.; two daughters, Maxine Fisher of Fisk and Glenda Napier of Carlyle, Ill.; one brother, Med Ham of Puxico, Mo.; two sisters, Edith Barks of Dexter and Nellie Burns [Berens] of Belleville, Ill.; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 40 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great grandchild. Her parents, Ira and Maude Ham; two daughters, Peggy Mattingly and an infant daughter who died at birth; four brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren, Patricia Hayes and Brenda Turay, preceded her in death. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Monday at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Gail Lambert officiating. Burial will be in the Rombauer Cemetery at Rombauer, Mo.
