Harlan Daily Enterprise, Harlan, Kentucky, October 11, 1978, Page 10, Col. 1: Mrs. Beatrice P. Vicars, 65, Nashville, died Monday in Donaldson Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was formerly of Loyall. Services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Harlan United Methodist Church with the Rev. J. H. Burton and the Rev. Bill Melzoni officiating. Burial will be in Pineville Cemetery. She is survived by four children, Alton Vicars Jr., Middlesboro; William T. Vicars, Athens, Tenn.; Mrs. Don Tolbert, Nashville; and Douglas of Corbin. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and three sisters, Silvia Davis, Mrs. Ike Wilson and Lillian Wilson. The family will receive friends today from 6 until 9 p.m. in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.
