John Hodges, age 91, passed away in Minneapolis, Minn., yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Eugene Knapp. He was a resident here for many years, leaving about nine years ago for Minneapolis to make his home with his daughter. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Anna Cornilson, Oelwein, Mrs. Eugene Knapp, Minneapolis, Minn., Minnie Hodges, independence, Mrs. Bob McKenney and Mrs. J. G. McNamee of Calif., and Mary Hodges of Minneapolis. Also four sons survive, Joe of Oelwein, A. J. Hodges of Waterloo, Clarence of Minneapolis, and Lee of Washington. The body will arrive from Minneapolis Wednesday evening and will lie in state at the Brant Funeral Home until hour of services which will be Thursday afternoon, Nov. 18th, at 2 p.m. from the Brant Funeral Home. Elder George McFarlane officiating. Burial will be made at Woodlawn.
