Neosho Daily, Neosho, Missouri, Tuesday, August 5, 1975: Violet Smith. Mrs. Violet Alice Smith, 63, Route 3, Anderson, died at her home at 6 a.m. Monday following a long illness. Mrs. Smith was born March 6, 1912, in Minnesota. She lived in the Anderson area for several years. She was a member of the Lutheran Church. Surviving are her husband, Leroy Smith; one son Wayne, address unknown; a daughter Mrs. Viole McWilliams, Mountain Home, Ark. and five grandchildren. Services will be announced by the Ozark Funeral Home of Anderson.
