Daughenbaugh, age 89, of Richland Center, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 1989, at the Pine Valley Manor. She was born on December 10, 1899, in Soldiers' Grove, the daughter of Robert and Minnie (Fisher) Clason. She married Charles S. Daughenbaugh on January 28, 1915, who preceded her in death on April 4, 1967. She was a member of the First Church of God of Rockford, Illinois. Survivors include: a daughter, Evelyn Carnahan of Wichita, Kansas; two sons, Eli of South Carolina and Richard (Anita) of Rockford, Illinois; a daughter-in--law, Mary Daughenbaugh; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a son, Verlin "Bud" on March 22, 1977; two sisters; and three brothers. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 7 at 1:30 p.m. at the Pratt Funeral Home. Reverend Robert Duranceau will officiate. Burial will be in the Bowen Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the chapel.
