Horace ave., died at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 1967, in St. Anthony Hospital after a long illness. Born May 27, 1889, in Richland Center, Wis., son of Mr. and Mrs. Absolom Daughenbaugh. Lived 10 years in Rockford, coming here from Beloit, Wis. Married to the former Elsie Clason in Richland County, Jan. 28, 1915. He was a retired stone mason and carpenter. Member of the First Church of God. Survivors include: Widow, Elise; three sons, Eli, Mariten, N. J.; Verlin, Racine, Wis., and Richard, Rockford; one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Carnahan, Wichita, Kan.; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Services at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 8, in Pratt Funeral Home, Richland Center, Wis., with the Rev. Kenneth E. Shook, pastor of the First Church of God, Rockford, officiating. Burial will be in Richland Center. Local arrangements by Burpee-Wood Funeral Home, 420 N. Main St.
