Nampa Idaho Free Press, Nampa, Idaho, Monday, August 25, 1975, Page 2, Col. 8: Boise---Funeral services for Frank Eugene Freeman, 75, 3840 Mountain View drive, who died Sunday at a Boise hospital after a long illness, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Summers Funeral Home by the Rev. I.Q. Wood. Private interment will be in Cloverdale Memorial Park.

Mr. freeman was born Aug. 24, 1900, in Pocahontas, Iowa and married Florence Louise Hoyer in 1937 in Highland Park, Calif. He moved to Idaho with his family in 1909 and settled near Buhl. After his marriage he lived in McCall from 1945 to 1968. He served in the Idaho State Senate for one term and was a World War I veteran. He moved to Boise in 1968 and was commandant of the Idaho Soldiers Home from 1961 to 1963.

Among local survivors is a nephew, Frank C. Freeman of Nampa. The family suggests memorials to the Shrine Hospital for Crippled Children, Box 1127, Boise; to the Alpine Playhouse, Box 8, McCall, or to a favorite charity.
