Ida May Kirk

Nampa Idaho Free Press, Nampa, Idaho, Saturday, April 25, 1953, Page 3, Col. 3: Mrs. Ida May Freeman, 82, of 216 Nineteenth Avenue, South died at a Nampa hospital early this morning. Mrs. Freeman was born May 14, 1871, at Manson, Iowa. She was married Nov. 1, 1887, to Dr. Frank E. Freeman at Rockwell City, Iowa. They moved to Buhl in 1909 and to Boise in 1915 where she lived until coming to Nampa in 1945. Her husband died in 1948. She was a member of the Episcopal Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving here are two sons, State senator Frank E. Freeman of McCall and Clarence E. Freeman of Santa Monica, Calif.; a sister, Miss Sara Jane Kirk of Nampa; two daughters-in-law, Mrs. Fern Freeman of Nampa and Mrs. Bess Freeman of McCall; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Two sons preceded her in death, Gaylord in 1943 and Ivan in 1951. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Edmunds Mortuary. The Rev. C. A. McKay of Grace Episcopal Church will officiate. Burial will be in Cloverdale cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel until 1 p.m. Monday. The casket will not be opened at the services.
