Redwood City Tribune-Peninsula Times Tribune, Redwood City, California, December 16, 1969. Memorial services for Mrs. Ella M. Cornett are scheduled Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo. Mrs. Cornett, 83, died last Thursday at Hylond Convalescent Hospital in Santa Clara following a lengthy illness. A native of Wisconsin, Mrs. Cornett lived in Belmont for 21 years, at 1233 Lane St., before she entered Hylond Hospital in 1966. She owned the Suburban Drapery Shop on Old County Road, Belmont, from 1946 to 1954. She held membership in the Bethsaida Shrine No. 43 of Evanston, Ill., and the Pentalpha Chapter No. 534 Order of the Eastern Star of Illinois. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert F. Miller of Belmont and Mrs. Irving O. Smith of Palm Desert, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Johnson of San Carlos and a brother, Ralph Clason of Santa Ana, Calif. Private inurnment will be at Skylawn Memorial Park under the direction of White Oaks Chapel.
