Eldora Ledger, Eldora, Iowa, Thursday, June 21, 1894, Page 5, Col. 2: John B. Hosier died suddenly of heart disease at Hampton Monday, June 11, and was interred in the Eldora cemetery Tuesday. The G. A. R. lodge of Eldora met the cortège at the train and marched in procession. Rev. Brindell conducted the services using the text, "Fight the good fight of faith, may hold on eternal life." The widow will reside in Eldora.
