Eldora Herald, Eldora, Iowa, Thursday, April 29, 1915, Front Page Col. 5: Mrs. Hosier Gone. Sister of Mrs. Rachel Lamprecht Died Tuesday Night After Long Illness---Funeral This Afternoon. Mrs. Artesia (sic) Hosier, who had made her home with her sister, Mrs. Rachel Lamprecht in Eldora for a number of years, died Tuesday night, after a long illness, stomach trouble being the cause of death. He husband died in Hampton several years since and was brought to Eldora for interment. Mrs. Hosier was 73 years of age. She was a quiet, home-body and was therefore not so very well known. A good woman has gone home. The funeral service will be held this afternoon from the John Peisen home in the west part of Eldora and will be in charge of Rev. T. H. Gallagher of the Methodist church. The burial will be in the Eldora cemetery, beside the body of her husband.
