Mrs. Dicy Kirkpatrick, 71, died at 10:40 this morning at her home, 2113 Cherry street, after a lingering illness. She was born January 2, 1884 in Elk Prairie township, the daughter of E. B. and Josephine (Vance) Dalby. On September 19,1909 she was married in Jefferson county, to I. F. Kirkpatrick, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick was a member of the Central Church of Christ. Funeral arrangements were incomplete. The body was taken to the Pulley Funeral Home. She is survived by two sons, Aram b. and Leroy D., both of Mt. Vernon; three daughters Mrs. Pearl Ryder of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Louise Mick of Detroit, Mich. and Mrs. Josephine Boehn of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Gabe Dalby of Mt. Vernon and John and W. K. Dalby of Benton; three sisters, Mrs. Winnie Shew of Benton, Mrs. Elizabeth Coffman of Ina and Mrs. Dan S. Milner of Bonnie and several grandchildren.
