Sandusky Register, Sandusky, Ohio, Wednesday, September 6, 1933, Page 7, Col. 2: Mrs. Hitchcock Dies of Injury. Was Hurt In Crash Of Autos Saturday Night. Injuries suffered in an auto accident Saturday night resulted in the death Tuesday evening at 11 o'clock at Good Samaritan Hospital of Mrs. Edith Biddle Hitchcock, wife of Charles Hitchcock of 1217 First st. She was aged 40 years and 22 days.

Mrs. Hitchcock and her daughters were injured when an auto operated by Mr. Hitchcock collided with one operated by H. W. Scott of Heron, two and one-half miles west of Ruggles Beach. She suffered internal injuries which resulted in death. Her two daughters are still in the hospital.

Surviving are the husband, two daughters Aline and Virginia; one son, Walter Hitchcock, all at home; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Biddle, of Sandusky; her grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Biddle, of Northeast, Md.; four brothers, Walter of Springfield, Ill., Carroll, of Holly Oak, Delaware, H. Herman Biddle, of Lakewood, and Raymond of Sandusky; four sisters, Mrs. William Rice, Detroit, Mrs. Richard Reser, Piqua, Mrs. Joseph Chase, and Mrs. Robert White, both of Sandusky.

Mrs. Hitchcock was a member of Calvary Baptist Church here. The body is at the Chas. J. Andres Sons' Funeral Home where friends may call after 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and where funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Ralph Stoll officiating. Burial will be made in Oakland Cemetery.
