Born September 25, 1922 in Jasper, she was preceded in death by her parents, Alice and Andrew Kiker; siblings, Esther Powell, Pearl Dowdey, Garfield Kiker, John Lee Kiker, Jessie Doris Kiker and Douglas Kiker. She is suvived by her husband, Donald Girard; three sons, Kris Girard of Leslie, Mich., Alan Girard of Ray, Mich., and Lynn Girard and his wife, Arlene of Sycamore, Ill.; two grandchildren, Bruce and Erin Girard; sisters, Bessie Dowdey of Jasper and Dorothy Ramsey* of Huntsville; and several other loving family members in Alabama.
