Mrs. Jennie Belle Cox was dead on arrival at Lovington Lea General Hospital this morning. Mrs. Cox resided in Tatum at Cox apartments, and had lived there for 22 years. She was 55 years old and had been a cook at the Steakhouse in Tatum. Survivors other her husband, Oscar, are four daughters, Jeanene Cone, Tatum, Jan Fowler, Lovington, Nan Chew, Tatum, and Judy Henderson, Tatum, four sons, Clinton, Odessa, Jim, Tatum, Joe Edgarton, Wyoming, and Jerry Liberal, Kansas; five brothers, Jack Aycock, Ft. Worth, Henry Aycock, New Orleans, Roland Aycock, Albuquerque, Johnnie Aycock, Odessa and Don Aycock, Hereford; and one sister Madge of Lockney. An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death. Funeral services are pending at Smith-Rogers Funeral Home.
