Dr. Neil Record, pastor, will officiate. Burial arrangements are not complete. Carter Funeral Home is arranging the services. Mrs. King, a native of Alto, became Lockney city clerk about 11 years ago and held the post until last year. She is a longtime resident of Floyd County.
Mrs. King was a Baptist. Survivors are her husband, Russell, owner of a dry cleaning plant in Floydada; three sons, Ronnie White of Plainview, Rex Jones of Odessa and Larry Jones of Amarillo; one stepson Denny King of El Paso; four brothers, Roland Aycock of Albuquerque, Jack of Fort Worth, Don of Hereford and Johnny of Odessa; and six grandchildren.

Burial in Lockney Cemetery will be by Carter Funeral Home. Mrs. King, a former city secretary at Lockney, died Wednesday afternoon at Lockney General Hospital. She was the mother of Ronnie White of Plainview and Larry Jones of Amarillo and the sister of Dan Aycock of Hereford. Other survivors include her husband, Russell; another son, a stepson, three other brothers and six grandchildren.
