Pike, 94, of 408 Laclede, retired rural mail carrier, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Cochran Mortuary. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Goddard. He died Sunday. Born in Illinois he came to Wichita in 1948 from Goddard. Survivors include his widow, Nellie M.; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Wilson, Goddard, and Mae Shipley, Albuquerque, N.M.; a stepson, Bill Mitchell, Columbia, S.C.; two brothers, Lee Cheney, and Herbert, Mount Hope, and three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Ruhl, Mulvane, Mrs. Mable Engel, Thayer, Kan., and Mrs. Fred Barani, Manhattan, Kan., A memorial has been established with Goddard Methodist Church.
