Wichita Beacon, Wichita, Kansas, September 6, 1918, Page 4: Kirkpatrick---Mrs. Lydia Elizabeth Kirkpatrick, passed away at her home, 1010 West Maple Street this morning after a long illness. She is survived by her husband G. W. Kirkpatrick; two sons, Errol in France and Paul; two daughters, Ruby and Gladys, two sisters Mrs. Ralph Wood and Mrs. R. C. Lucas and her father J. W. Doty of Princeton, Ia. Funeral services will be held from the Trinity Methodist Church Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock and will be in charge of the Rev. C. H. Woodward and Interment will be in Cartwright Cemetery*. I. W. Gill is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
