Alice Honorine Waite

The Evening Telegram, Superior, Wisconsin, Monday, December 18, 1939: Mrs. Alice H. Sheff, 48, a resident here 25 years, died Sunday at her home, 416 Thirteenth avenue East, after a long illness. She was born in Canada. Mrs. Sheff was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic church and the Confraternity of St. Anne de Beaupre of St. Louis church. Surviving are her husband, Richard; a brother Walter Waite and a sister, Mrs. Grace Campeau, both of Saskatchewan. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 8:15 am at the LeSage funeral home, and 9 a. m., at St. Francis Catholic church. The Rev. Salvator Wegemer will officiate and burial will be at St. Francis cemetery, family lot. Ladies of the parish will recite a rosary Tuesday, 3 p. m., at the LeSage funeral home and another rosary will be recited at 8:30 p. m.
