Her funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Caldwell's Colonial Mortuary with private entombment at Portland Memorial. A native of Pullman, Wash., Mrs. Getchell was born November 15, 1880, and lived at Portland since 1942. She was a member of the Grange and Rebekah Lodge for 64 years. Survivors include two daughters, Mayda Painter, of Mukilteo, Wash., and Florence Pennell, of St. Helens, Ore.; three sons, Chester, of Auburn, Wash., Walter, of Spokane, and Scotty of Pasco; one sister, Minnie Olds, of Pullman; one brother, Ben A. Swall, of Seattle, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
