Daily American Republic, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Saturday, February 5, 1944, Front Page, Col. 2: Aged Resident of Rombauer Is Victim Of Fall. Mrs. Lucy Buchanan, long a resident of the Rombauer community, died at the family home yesterday afternoon at the age of 88. She had become ill following an accident a few days ago when she fell at the home. Surviving are two sons, Henry and Harvey, both of Rombauer and one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Ulrey of Colorado. Funeral rites will be conducted tomorrow at 1 o'clock from the Rombauer Church and burial will be in the Ham Town cemetery.
